Here are links to a few Pinterest sites with examples: https://www.pinterest.com/redkoaladesign/polish-folk-patterns/ https://www.pinterest.com/irenemoreno5623/bordado-hungaro/ I am looking forward to submitting many more puzzles of this type soon! I have begun to solve all of the "Simpsonzied" puzzles I submitted. Here is an example of a puzzle that was slightly changed before publishing. Margaery Tyrell as SubmittedMargaery Tyrell as PublishedThe way things are supposed to be... When I received the comment "ok" from a solver I also noticed that the thumbnail clearly shows a very square face. See the image below. I hope this helps explain why certain puzzles appear the way they do. I am still learning how to make puzzles in such a way that the editors will publish them as is.
I really enjoy the comments that solver leave on my puzzles. I learn from the constructive criticism and I am inspired by the positive feedback I receive. My favorite is when I have to use Google Translate to find out what some of the international solvers are leaving as comments. I hope to continue to document my journey as a puzzle author and share what I have learned in the process. Thanks, Kendra |
